  1. Check availability

Call Twalla or Oscar to ask about beds, room options, and your move-in needs.

  2. Complete screening

Discuss recovery-housing fit, shared living, safety needs, and house expectations.

  3. Interview & decision

Complete an interview and receive an admission decision. Admission is subject to approval.

  4. Prepare to move in

Complete paperwork, payment, identification and medication review, belongings review, and required drug and alcohol testing.

Recovery housing and clinical care

Oschavilla provides housing, not detox, inpatient treatment, medical care, or medication administration. Residents are responsible for their own meals, and routine transportation is not provided. Applicants who need a higher level of care must first connect with an appropriate provider.

A RESPECTFUL SHARED HOME

Clear expectations.
A safer community.

The complete Resident Agreement and policies are reviewed during admission.

Sobriety & safety

No alcohol, illegal drugs, or misuse of medication. Required drug and alcohol testing includes admission testing and testing after overnight absences. Violence, threats, and conduct creating immediate danger are prohibited. Lawfully prescribed medication must be used and stored according to house requirements.

Curfew & quiet hours

Curfew is 11 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and midnight Friday–Saturday. Approved exceptions may be authorized. Quiet hours are 10 p.m.–7 a.m.

House meetings & responsibilities

House meetings are Saturdays at 10 a.m. unless otherwise directed. Residents attend unless excused, complete assigned chores, keep sleeping areas orderly, respect neighbors, and meet agreed financial obligations.

Privacy, visitors & smoking

Visitors inside the residence require specific authorization; overnight guests are prohibited. Respect other residents’ rooms and privacy. Smoking is permitted only in the designated backyard area.

Overnight passes

Prior approval is required except in a genuine emergency. Request approval at least 24 hours ahead when possible. The normal maximum is two consecutive nights unless a longer pass is approved. Weekly fees remain due, and drug and alcohol testing is required on return.
